Traveler's Tales
I enjoy traveling and think of myself as a world citizen. I am fortunate to visit many wonderful
people and places, near and far. Many are places I visited as a journalist.
They leave a great impression on my heart and inspire my writings.
Here are a few photos from my traveler's tales.
Riding a camel at the Pyramids of Giza, May 2007.
I was part of a Group Study Exchange trip with the Rotary.
Me and my Group Study Exchange team from the Rotary to Egypt, May 2007.
I am first-generation, Irish-American. In September 2018,
I visited Dublin and stopped by a home once occupied by
Bram Stoker, author of Dracula.
I've been to England several times and in March 2015,
I stopped by the amazing Stonehenge site in Wiltshire.
In May 2009, I visited Turkey on a press trip -- including the
beautiful and mysterious Cappadocia. Here I am with our press team,
viewing Cappadocia from a hot-air balloon!
